The Greater Philadelphia Junior Golf Foundation is a 501 c(3) Charitable Foundation that is currently administered by The Philadelphia Foundation.
The mission of the foundation is to raise funds that would enable the Foundation to introduce the game of golf to interested members of the community. Our goal is to grow the game of golf and provide financial assistance, instruction, instructional materials, mentoring, equipment, and scholarships to individuals and organizations within the community.
This mission will be accomplished through partnership with the Philadelphia Section PGA, allied with organizations, and the corporate golfing community at large. We will be improving lives through golf!
PGA Reach consists of three pillars in effort to impact lives through golf:
Introduction to golf at a young age has proven to teach life lessons beyond the game and offer unique opportunities for youth nationwide. PGA REACH ensures that costs are never a barrier to participate.
The PGA provides physical, mental and social rehabilitation to veterans nationwide by introducing them to the game of golf. Since 2007, the Helping Our Patriots Everywhere (HOPE) program offers what many veterans are missing… competition via a sport that they can play for the rest of their lives.
DIVERSITY & INCLUSION
PGA REACH strives to make golf inclusive of people from all cultural and ethnic backgrounds and for individuals with disabilities.
