Kerry Mattern (Cedarbrook CC) and partner Jack Ulan posted a 5-under par 66 (33-33) early in the day at Manufacturer's G&CC, the site of the Pro-Junior Championship.  No other team came within two shots until the last few groups of the day.  Frank Palumbo and his partner Zack Fallone, both from Rolling Green GC, were in the third group from the end and missed by a shot, finishing with a 4-under par 67 (34-33).  However, the duo from Blue Bell CC featuring professional Bob Everett and partner Ben Feld, in the next to last group of the day, managed to tie the leaders, finishing at 5-under 66 and matching their nines with a 33-33. 

Jim Smith Jr, (Philadelphia Cricket Club) and his son Justin lead the Parent-Child division with a 2-under par 69.  The format for the Championship was a tough, foursome format. Both partners hit drives off the tee, from there the best drive was selected and alternate shot was played into the hole.
