Ingraham Wins Whitford Classic

After seven birdies and an eagle in the first round, Stu Ingraham came back down to earth with only two birdies and a bogey in the second round of the Whitford Classic/ Make a Wish Pro-Am.  Ingraham finished the tournament at 10-under par 134 good enough for a four shot victory.  Two seniors, George Forster (Radnor Valley CC) and Jim Masserio (Applebrook GC) tied for second at 6-under par 138.  Each shot 2-under par (70) on the first day and added a 4-under par (68) in the second round.  Laurel Creek CC professional John DiMarco had the low round of day two finishing at 5-under par 67 (72-67-139).  That got him a tie for fourth place with another senior Bill Sautter (Philadelphia Cricket Club).  In the amateur division, seven players had scores good enough in the first round to join the professionals in the second round.  Eric Meyer finished at 3-over par 147 (75-72) to win the division by two shots over Pat Marshalak (77-72)-149. Exelon, the sponsor of the event, was on hand to present the awards to the players.
