October Section Update from Jim Smith Jr.
Dear Members & Apprentices,
I started my term by sending what was likely my longest update back in November of 2007. Now, two years later, this final update from me will be my shortest!
Simply put, I just want to say ‘thanks’. Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to serve. Thanks for all the support and consideration I’ve been afforded. Thanks for bearing with my mistakes and mis-steps. It’s been a wonderful experience, one I deeply appreciate your allowing me to share with you.
I leave office knowing the leadership group in place brings far more to the table than I ever did. We’re in good hands and I look forward to continuing to do my best to contribute to the success of the Section, albeit in a less official role. While my time is up, my desire to see the Philadelphia Section grow and improve will not diminish, and I look forward to what I believe is a very bright future. Have a great off-season, and thanks again for everything.
