Cinnaminson, N.J. (August 24, 2026) — After battling to the finish, the team representing the Country Club of Harrisburg in Harrisburg, Pa., captured the championship at the fourth annual PGA HOPE Philadelphia Cup Presented by MedEast Post-Op  at Riverton Country Club. The team, led by PGA of America Golf Associate Tyler Shank, included U.S. military veterans Scott Wullbrandt, Marc Guerrisi, Chris Pfahl, and John Friedman, and will represent PGA of America REACH Foundation Philadelphia‘s 20 PGA HOPE chapters in the 2027 PGA HOPE Secretary’s Cup at PGA Frisco during PGA Championship week in Frisco, Texas. 

The PGA HOPE Secretary’s Cup celebrates the PGA HOPE program by providing a unique and memorable experience for our military veterans and the PGA Professionals who work tirelessly to positively impact veterans’ lives. This annual event in conjunction with the week of PGA Championship, began in 2016 and is named after the Secretary of Veteran Affairs in recognition of the Memorandum of Understanding between PGA REACH and the Department of Veteran Affairs. Each team is made up of four veterans from a PGA HOPE program and one PGA or LPGA Professional. 

Country Club of Harrisburg posted a net team score of 59, 12-under-par, to claim the championship. Teams consisted of one PGA of America Golf Professional and four PGA HOPE veterans. A scorecard playoff broke a two-way tie for second place between Indian Spring Country Club and the Country Club at Woodloch Springs. Ultimately, Indian Spring Country Club, led by Andrew Pierson, PGA, secured second place with a team score of 60. Pierson was joined by veterans Brian Stettler, Jerome Chaney, Eric Newsome, and Dru Kumar. The Country Club at Woodloch Springs, led by Justin Alumni, PGA, finished in third place after also posting a team score of 60. Alumni was joined by veterans Darrell Williams, Brian McCracken, Joe Castaldi, and Joe Magnotta.
