Award Nomination Deadline Approaching
The 2020 Awards nomination deadline is fast approaching! Nominations must be sent in by August 28. Award categories include: Golf Professional of the Year, Teacher & Coach of the Year, Professional Development Award, Bill Strausbaugh Award, Player Development Award, Youth Player Development Award, Merchandiser of the Year (Private, Public, and Resort Categories), Assistant Golf Professional of the Year, Patriot Award, and Golf Salesperson of the Year. Direct Deposit Required for Tournaments
In order to receive prize checks from Philadelphia PGA Section events, PGA Professionals must sign up for direct deposit. Following a directive from PGA of America, Section PGA Professionals will not receive any prize checks until they authorize direct deposit. To sign up, click here.

Golf Channel Airs Segment Honoring the Late Justin Riegel
The Golf Channel's Live From the PGA Championship program aired an in memoriam segment honoring the late Justin Riegel during PGA Championship week. To watch the segment, click here.
As a reminder, Celtic Golf's generous raffle to benefit Justin's family will remain open until the PGA REACH Philadelphia Pro-Am on Oct. 28. The grand prize includes six days and five nights at the five-star Killarney Park Hotel and four rounds of golf at Ballybunion G.C's Old Course, Old Head Golf Links, Tralee G.C. and Waterville Golf Links in Ireland for four golfers. A second prize, a foursome at TPC Sawgrass in Florida, was donated by Derek Sprague, PGA. Entries are $100 each (no limit). To enter the raffle, click here.

Tournament Season Reminders
Section Membership Programs: Register for the Tournament Player Division (TPD), Hole-in-One Club, Philadelphia Assistants' Organization (PAO), Central Counties Chapter (CCC), and / or Chapter Hole-in-One Club by clicking here.
Direct Deposit: To receive winnings, PGA Professionals must authorize credit and debit entries, and correction entries into a checking or savings account. To set up direct deposit, click here.
REACH for Birdies: Make pledges to donate a certain dollar amount for each birdie and / or eagle that you make during all official Section and PAO events. To register, click here.
Hole-in-One Club: Any PGA Professional who joins and makes an ace during a Section event will earn the entire purse; multiple holes-in-one will share. To register, click here.
Philadelphia PGA Junior Tour Affiliate Program: Participating facilities will promote the tour and in return, each will receive one complimentary tour membership for a new youth golfer at their facility. Register by emailing info@phillyjuniortour.com.
