Player Development

Player Development Overview

The Philadelphia PGA strongly believes in supporting their mission to grow the game of golf. The Player Development Committee exists to do just that. We seek to enrich the lives of others by developing programs and initiatives that promote golf in our communities. The Section’s Player Development Director, Leila Mackie, works with PGA Members to help grow rounds, revenue, and golfers at their facility. The Player Development department within the Philadelphia Section focuses on six different objectives to provide programs and services to our PGA Members and to the community.  Including:

  1. Consumer Events
  2. PGA Junior League
  3. College Connection Program
  4. Golf in Schools Program
  5. Facility Meetings & Member Education
  6. Equipment Rental Program

If you would like more information on any of the below programs, please feel free to reach out to Leila Mackie or the Player Development Committee.
