CONCORDVILLE, PA -Spring Ford CC head professional Rich Steinmetz added another 1-under par 70 to his previous two for a 210 total and a three shot win over his nearest competitor Jim Masserio (Aronimink GC Director of Golf), who eagled the last hole to finish at even par 213. After making six threes on the front side in yesterday's round, (seven total), he added seven more threes on today' s card for his under par round. By winning the event he qualifies for one of the nine spots in the Professional National Championship in Georgia next June. He will be joined by Masserio, Steve Madsen (216)(Wilmington CC), Stu Ingraham (216)(Overbrook GC), John DiMarco (217) (Laurel Creek CC), John Pillar (217) (Woodloch Springs Resort), Terry Hatch (217) (Hidden Valley GC), and, by way of a sudden death playoff, Cleve Coldwater (218) (Glenmaura National) and Mike Moses (218)(Concord CC). The three alternates are George Forster (Radnor Valley CC), Brian Meyer (Patriot's Glen) and Orist Wells (Pitman GC).
