2025 PGA Championship Features Comprehensive Digital and Broadcast Coverage through PGAChampionship.com, App, Social Media, ESPN & CBS
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (May 14, 2025) – The 2025 PGA Championship, taking place May 15-18 at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, will feature extensive, in-depth coverage across the PGA of America’s digital suite and broadcast partners CBS Sports and ESPN.
PGA Digital Championship Coverage
The PGA Championship’s official website and app will provide comprehensive coverage, featuring an interactive user experience, 3D shot tracking, live leaderboard, scorecards and full coverage editorial. Within each player’s scorecard, users will have access to shot trails, 3D shot trails, scoring data, along with video clips of virtually every televised and streamed shot from a player’s round. A new video stories feature will update users on the latest each day.

The 156-player field at the PGA Championship includes the Corebridge Financial Team (#CorebridgexPGA) of PGA of America Golf Professionals. Fans can explore stories about each of the 20 PGA Golf Professionals, highlighting their work, coaching and management in their home facilities. A special “Meet My Coach” leaderboard feature will use geo-location to connect users with a PGA Golf Professional nearby. This helps the PGA of America’s mission to expand the game across the country, leveraging the expertise of over 30,000 PGA Golf Professionals to bring the game to everyone.
All digital platforms will feature live updates throughout the week, embedded video highlights, daily recaps, previews and breaking news. Fans will see relevant statistics through an expanded stats section, focusing on the numbers critical for success at Quail Hollow Club. The mobile app will contain live scoring, highlights and video recaps, along with special features for attendees.
Live betting odds provided by ESPN BET Sportsbook will be integrated into multiple areas of the PGA Championship’s digital product suite, including within player scorecards, offering a real-time look at players’ odds of winning, and other markets, providing instant updates throughout the Championship.
Social media coverage will feature highlights, video and live competition updates across X, Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok. The PGA of America’s depth of content continues to grow, providing graphical and video highlights, while an expanded, longer-form video strategy will provide recaps and fun storytelling on YouTube. Over 1,000 pieces of digital content will be delivered the week of the PGA Championship.

PGA Championship Fantasy with Elevated Prizing
Fans will again have the opportunity to participate in PGA Championship Fantasy, with some very exciting updates for 2025. For the first time, daily prizes will be awarded each round of the Championship, in addition to the prizes awarded for the overall, week-long competition. The overall winner will earn a golf trip up to $10,000, provided by Premier Golf, and a gift card to the PGA Shop, while the winner of each individual round will win a year’s supply of golf balls from Titleist.

PGA Championships App
A redesigned PGA Championships app will launch this week, delivering coverage beginning with the PGA Championship and extending through the PGA’s entire Championship season. An enhanced at-home experience, coupled with an immersive attendee experience, will delight users worldwide in its coverage of the strongest field in golf.
In partnership with T-Mobile, the PGA Championship on-site map will provide attendees an enhanced wayfinding experience. Spectators will be able to see their current location and utilize real-time navigation and the new Near Me feature to create a tailored plan for their day. Real-time player location will also be available within the map during all practice and Championship rounds, and fans will be able to tap directly to any group’s current location in the map directly from the starting times screen.
For the first time, PGA Championship live scoring will be available directly on phone lock screens with iOS live activities. Fans can add the Championship leaderboard to their lock screen and add live scoring of individual players with live odds updates from ESPN BET Sportsbook.
Also new in the PGA Championships App is the introduction of push-notification delivered video. Highlights of the user’s favorite players are delivered via push notification and are viewable on the lock screen without having to open the app. Utilizing this new feature, fans will experience the biggest moments of the championship via T-Mobile Roar Moments.
Champ Connections Powered by T-Mobile
The Champ Connections powered by T-Mobile content series is a new collaborative effort between T-Mobile, PGA’s Digital platforms, and its broadcast partners. Highlighted by a live show on the T5G Range Wednesday evening, and recurring throughout the Championship on the broadcast and PGA Championship social media, fans will have a regular pulse of tips and insights from PGA of America Coaches that teach and educate the best in the game everyday. Wednesday evening’s Live from the T5G Range show, hosted by Hally Leadbetter and the Barstool Sports crew, will kick off the series before play is underway. T-Mobile’s 5G Advanced network connects all the technology behind Champ Connections.

PGA Championship CHAMPCast
New for the 2025 PGA Championship, CHAMPCast will showcase every shot from every player in a 3D environment. The experience will include shot tracking, dynamic shot trails, in-depth shot data, and video highlights, so fans can follow everything live or catch up on their favorite players after the round.
Broadcast and Streaming Coverage
CBS Sports, ESPN and ESPN+ will deliver wire-to-wire 72-hole coverage of the 107th PGA Championship. The sixth year of the 11-year agreement between CBS Sports, ESPN and the PGA of America will feature 250 hours of live coverage across their broadcast, cable and digital channels.
CBS Sports will broadcast the PGA Championship for the 35th consecutive year and 42nd time overall. Live multiplatform coverage will be led by the third and final rounds airing from 1-7 p.m. ET each day on Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18 on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+.
Coverage will include the introduction of T5G on 14,a dynamic augmented reality enhancement on the par-4 14th hole that will deliver real-time analytics and immersive visuals using 5G technology in partnership with T-Mobile.
CBS Sports Network and CBS Sports’ Digital platforms will provide extensive shoulder programming surrounding the 2025 PGA Championship, including PGA Championship Clubhouse Report, which will recap each round (Thursday-Sunday, 8-9 PM, ET), with highlights, analysis and player interviews. Starting Monday, May 12, CBS Sports HQ will show nearly 50 hours of coverage.

ESPN: Golf fans will have extensive viewing opportunities on ESPN and ESPN+ throughout the week. ESPN platforms will present more than 225 combined hours of live play during all four days of the Championship, including traditional coverage as well as exclusive Featured Groups and Featured Holes presentations.
Returning this year with expanded hours will be an alternate betting telecast featuring ESPN BET, the official sportsbook of ESPN and the “Official Sports Betting Sponsor” of the PGA Championship. The alternate telecast, ESPN BET at the PGA Championship, will run for three hours each day during the first, third and final rounds of the championship and for two hours during the second round.
In addition to the coverage of live play, ESPN’s signature news and information program SportsCenter will have reports and analysis from Quail Hollow for the entire week of the event and ESPN.com will provide extensive digital coverage. ESPN+ will stream three-hour practice round coverage programs at noon on both Tuesday and Wednesday of Championship week.
