Dave McNabb, Mike Molino Qualify for U.S. Senior Open at Saucon Valley Country Club

Lower Gwynedd Township, Pa. (May 20, 2022) — PGA Members Dave McNabb of Applebrook Golf Club in Malvern, Pa., and Mike Molino of the Country Club of Scranton in Clarks Summit, Pa., have each qualified for the 2022 U.S. Senior Open, to be hosted at Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem, Pa., on June 23-26.

Molino earned his spot in the senior men’s major championship on May 18 at Indiana (Pa.) C.C. with a birdie in a three-person playoff, following his round of 3-under-par 68 in regulation. To view the full results from the May 18 qualifier, click here.

“This is my first major, and a dream come true,” said Molino. “The past 24 hours have been very exciting. I am overwhelmed with support from family, friends, and Country Club of Scranton members.”

McNabb played his way into his ninth major at Doylestown (Pa.) C.C. on May 19, with a round of 1-under-par 70. Click here to view the complete leaderboard from the May 19 qualifier.

“I think it’s awesome to be playing so close to home,” said McNabb. “My members have always been really great in supporting me, and the fact that it’s so close to home where they can come and watch, great; plus, having my family there this summer, will be really cool.”

Qualifying for a major championship is difficult, and having two PGA Members make a championship in their home PGA Section is rare, and very special. We hope you consider attending the U.S. Senior Open at Saucon Valley in June to root on Dave and Mike! To purchase tickets, click the below button.
