Silvercrest Asset Management Group Makes Significant Donation to PGA REACH Philadelphia, Impacting Lives Through Golf
Lower Gwynedd Township, Pa. (September 28, 2022) — Following the conclusion of the inaugural Silvercrest Cup at Gulph Mills Golf Club on September 26, Silvercrest Asset Management Group, an investment advisor providing asset management and family office services to high net worth individuals and select institutional investors, made significant donations to PGA REACH Philadelphia, the 501(c)(3) charitable foundation of the Philadelphia PGA Section, and the J.Wood Platt Caddie Scholarship Trust, the official charitable arm of the Golf Association of Philadelphia.
Silvercrest gifted both foundations $10,000 each to use towards achieving their individual missions and goals. PGA REACH Philadelphia’s mission is to positively impact lives through the game of golf, focusing on three core pillars: Youth, Military, and Inclusion.
“We are thrilled to have a partner like Silvercrest supporting our foundation,” said PGA REACH Philadelphia Director Courtney Curcio. “Their company’s commitment to both the game of golf, and our local communities, will certainly help our programs grow not only this year, but into the future.”
Donations to PGA REACH Philadelphia help fund valuable and effective programs like PGA Jr. League, PGA HOPE Philadelphia (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) for U.S. military veterans, and the Philadelphia PGA Junior Tour Diversity Scholarships.
Silvercrest CEO Chairman and CEO, Richard R. Hough III, said “Silvercrest Asset Management Group believes in giving back to the communities we live and work in. It is extremely rewarding to recognize and assist those who share our passion for learning, teaching, and striving for excellence.”
