J.T. Wambold Leads Yardley C.C. Team to Victory in 2024 Philadelphia PGA Summer Pro-Lady Team Championship Presented by Parx Casino®
Plymouth Meeting, Pa. (August 21, 2024) — Golf Professional J.T. Wambold led his team from Yardley Country Club to victory in the 2024 Philadelphia PGA Summer Pro-Lady Team Championship Presented by Parx Casino® at Sunnybrook Golf Club. Wambold and his female playing partners: Alyssa Ault, Sam Krier, Kim Severino had an outstanding score of 18-under par including four net eagles.
One stroke behind the leaders in the net division were from Laurel Creek Country Club. They consisted of PGA Member Bob Hennefer, Chrissy Duman, Donna McHugh, and Eileen Burke. Scoring an impressive team score of 15-under par was the team from Gulph Mills G.C. with Beatrice Smith, PGA, Becky Frazier, Eleanor Good and Ellen Miller. Two teams tied for fourth at 13-under par: Bidermann Golf Club’s John Lynch, PGA, Mary Harding Cist, Joan Beard, Jeane Franzone; Chris Duckett, PGA, Shirley Frisch, Patti Rubel and Barb Green from Eagles Mere C.C.
In the gross division, the team who took home the top prize was from Commonwealth National G.C., consisting of PGA of America Golf Professional, Dan Mrozinski., Karen Siegel, Abby Lynn, and Sarah Cohen. They topped the team out of Honeybrook G.C. consisting of Brian Buskirk, Jane Riley, Barbora Millichip and Molly Gorman, by three strokes. Robert Fenton, PGA and his female amateurs from Sunnybrook G.C., Leslie Lane, Marybeth Casey and Gabi Courtney, came in solo third place at 6-under par. PGA Member from Northampton C.C., Brent Wallace, and his team of Noreen Mohler, Kat Wolfe, and Mary Manzo shot 5-under par. Three teams tied for fifth place.
