Lancaster, Pennsylvania (September 24, 2026) — PGA Professional Zach Barbin of Chesapeake Bay Golf Club in Rising Sun, Maryland and his amateur partner Wayne Fisher finished with a team score of 9-under-par at Lancaster Country Club to win the 2026 A.B. Thorn Memorial Pro-Am. 

With a tie for second, and one stroke behind Barbin and Fisher was PGA Professional Ryan Rucinski from Applebrook Golf Club and his amateur partner Alex Healy and PGA Professional Jeff Fick from
Moselem Springs Golf Club and his amateur partner Brandon Raihl. Rounding out the top five with a three way tie for fourth place, and with a score of 6-under-par was Briarwood Golf Club’s Richie Krebs and his amateur partner Shane Henry, LedgeRock Golf Club’s Bill Kindoll and his amateur partner Brock Kovach and Trump National Philadelphia’s Jake Gerney and his amateur partner P.J. Tighe.

The annual tournament was first played in 1936 under the moniker “Lancaster Pro-Am,” and has since changed to its current name to memorialize A.B. Thorn, Lancaster’s former PGA Head Professional, who also held the Section’s first vice president position in 1942-1944.
