Philadelphia PGA Announces New Dates for 2021 Haverford Philadelphia PGA Classic and Philadelphia Players Championship

Lower Gwynedd Township, Pa. (May 1, 2021) — The Philadelphia PGA Section and its partners The Haverford Trust Company and Lookaway Golf Club have announced new dates for the 2021 Haverford Philadelphia PGA Classic and Philadelphia Players Championship, in an effort to ensure responsible events during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The Haverford Philadelphia PGA Classic has been rescheduled for September 7, 2021, at its traditional host site, Sunnybrook G.C. in Plymouth Meeting, Pa., where PGA Professionals will compete for the largest PGA Section first prize in the nation, $100,000.

The Philadelphia Players Championship will move to September 20 at Lookaway G.C. in Buckingham, Pa. More information regarding each event will be released closer to their playing.
